Shi Jin-Hua (1964-), born in Penghu, Taiwan, currently works and lives in Kaohsiung. Graduated from the Art Creation Institute of the University of California, Irvine, Shi's works are mainly based on behaviour and records. His concerned his life experience and religious practice. Due to suffering from diabetes, the way to control and measure of blood sugar deeply affected his life and creation. There are two main types of his performing works: one is writing, and the other is measurement. Taking his own body as a measuring tool and carrying out non-objective measurements, he uses recorded lines to convey his religious views and opinions. He has been invited to exhibit in the Taipei Biennale and Asia Biennale many times. His works are collected in the White Rabbit Art Museum of Australia, National Taiwan Art Museum, Taipei Fine Art Museum, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, and Art Bank Taiwan.
