| Taiwan |Taipei Expo Park, Pavilion of New Fashion|2018.10.22-2018.11.18
Born in Slovakia in 1988, Maria Svarbova is good at capturing the powerlessness and helplessness of urban people's repeated life in the fantasy photography atmosphere. From her light and ethereal photography, we will see the stiff and expressionless model, either standing next to a sparkling pool, or in a scene that can be seen in anywhere with the repeated daily action day after day. These lonely, seemingly lifeless photography works provide the audience a reflection about themselves and thinking about their meaning of daily life. Maria Svarbova is famous of her photography series "Swimming Pool", which was widely known to Taiwanese people, especially after the photography work with Taiwanese pop singer Hebe Tian in 2016. In addition to exhibiting her famous series "Swimming Pool", the exhibition will also feature two series "Human Space" and "Plastic World". " Maria Svarbova Asia Premiere " is one of the exhibitions planned for the long-term project "Art Angle edition" for promoting photography in Taiwan. As the only partner of IPA International in Taiwan, Art Angle plans a large-scale photography exhibition through a fund-raising platform, hoping to promote Taiwanese photographers to the international market.
