Wonder Foto Day started in 2016, founded by curator Fang Yen-Wen, who has rich experiences in getting touch with international exhibitions and galleries. He thought Taiwan creators need a platform to freely exhibit their photographs, so he founded Wonder Foto Day with his friends. They invite not only Taiwanese photographers but also Asian creators to join this show and hope these photographers could share their ideas with people who are interested in photography.
Wonder Foto Day offers an opportunity to the young creators, challenging them to curate their own mini exhibitions on 120 by 120 cm tables. These photographers have to depend on their styles to decorate the limited space. Also, the judges will also pay attention to the creators’ familiarity with their own works and the creativity they have shown to “curate” their own exhibitions on the tables.
Wonder Foto Day has already started on this Friday to the public. There are 120 contestants (who are mainly from Taiwan and part from China, Japan, Indonesia, Russia), eager to show their works on the square tables.
