Li Fang (1933-) graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University Department of Fine Arts, he was one of the Fifth Moon founding members, she is responsible for choosing the name of the group. Later she went on to study at the Paris Art Institute, focusing on oil painting, printmaking and pottery. Her work holds at its core Chinese lyrical tradition and doesn’t blindly follow Western Romantic tradition popular in Switzerland. She has had Solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Taipei as well as other major cities around the world. She won the Canadian International Ink-Painting Maple Leaf Award of Excellence, Famous Artists Works Bronze Tripod Award, and the Dallas Texas International Watercolor Award. Her works are in the collection of the Taipei City Museum of Art and the Kaohsiung City Museum of Art.
