Julio Le Parker, now living in Paris, his creation was influenced by Tachisme as well as inspired by Mondrian's theory and the tradition of Constructivism. His early works were intertwined with color, light and kinetic energy, and later focused on experimentation and creating large works. He presented the study of "Continual Mobiles" in his three-dimensional works, introducing light and mechanical movements. His paintings seem simple in fact complex and contradictory, and can show three-dimensional effect and dynamic in two-dimensional space. He was awarded the Venice Biennale’s Major Painting Award in 1966. His work was collected by MoMA, Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Tate Modern and many important art institutions.
